We have had this refrigerator for over a year now and have found it to be okay as a refrigerator, but there are some design choices Samsung made which detract seriously from this fridge. First, the icemaker. The whole system is a mess. You cannot go in the freezer and get some ice out of the bin as we could in previous fridges. This means to put ice in a small mouth container we usually have to use a cup and transfer the cubes.A bigger issue is the ice dispenser itself. Every time we use it chips of ice, some quite large, spew out from around the top of the glass and shower on the floor. There are always little puddles of water on our floor, and eventually it will damage the polyurethane coating. We are also now experiencing a more concerning issue. The ice outlet gets jammed and the motorized drive which moves the ice out gets stuck on. When this happens, the only way we have found to resolve the issue is the remove the ice bin, empty and rinse out all the little chunks of ice stuck in the outlet, and then put the empty bucket back in. This has happened several times, once when one of our kids was home by herself and the motor was stuck on for 10-15 minutes while she tried to reach us on the phone to ask what to do.I also am concerned about the longevity of this fridge due to the flimsy nature of the plastic which lines the insider of the refrigerator side. When moving one of the shelves it went in at too much of an angle to slide in and the molded plastic shelf channel just…

This is NOT a review, but a word of caution. The WIDTH listed here is 30". Everywhere else I look this is a 32" Refrigerator.I'd just hate to see you order something that doesn't fit in your space. It's probably a very good appliance, but it's 32" and not 30" as stated above.

Long story short: bought a side by side...ice-maker broke within a few months...which after the 'normal' hassle you have to go through to get it repaired, the whole thing happened again a few months later...this time, I had to stand on my head and spit nickels to get a replacement...eventually they replaced the whole refrigerator (which to me is an admission of poor workmanship)...just from that experience I vowed to never purchase the Frigidaire brand again (which by the way got the lowest rating from Consumers Report BUT I bought it at the time because it was the only brand that fit into the space in my kitchen)...FAST FORWARD a few years later...guess what just broke on my Frigidaire? arghhhhhhh!I just buy bagged ice now. This should not happen to an appliance that you paid $1,000 for. I'm 60 years old...in all of my life neither my family or I have ever called for a repairman...what's up with dat' Frigidaire?p.s. To be fair, my review is not about this particular model (I couldn't find my model) but based on my experience and level of frustration right now, I just had to write this to alert others so they could take this into consideration.p.s.s. Just posting this review in multiple places to alert others, I see that it's pretty much the same story for most people...that's a shame.

I bought this refrigerator when our 20 year old Kenmore stopped making ice, which is a staple around our house. We bought the floor model, since the dealer did not have what I wanted in stock, and this was the only one I could bring home that day. I had to remove the doors to get it through the front door of the house. It is really big and heavy, and I am glad the doors can be removed with just a few screws and unplugging a couple of control wires. Connected the water line and reinstalled the doors with no problem. The water filter is easily accessable, and it's nice to know that we have filtered water for the ice and water. Now to the PROS and CONS of the appliance... It is bigger than the 22 Cu Ft that we had previously, with ample room for everything. I had to remove one of the clear front panels on the middle shelf on the right door to allow access to the shelf when I raised it enough to get a gallon of milk in the bottom right door shelf. The second pull out drawer is very nice for storing soda cans and yogurt. A big CON for me is the ice storage. Although the ice maker recovers pretty fast, and dumps about every 40 minutes, it does not hold very much ice. I find that after filling a few glasses (about 6), it runs out of ice. I need about double of what it will store in the bin. The in the door display is more of a novelty than a necessity. With the access to the internet on my iphone, I do not need the nutritional feature that it has. Another PRO of this unit is the metered…

I had to buy a refrigerator that fit in a small space (33 inches or less), so I had limited choices and didn't want to spend a fortune. This one fit the bill. It is a very nice mid-range price fridge. The icemaker and water dispenser work great, both the fridge and the freezer are lighted, as well as the water/ice dispenser (a nice bright LCD light) and the storage shelves and bins are nice quality. My previous fridge was a high-end Kitchenaid, and this does not have as many luxury features, but that is to be expected. The stainless and styling have a high-end look and I think it is a very good value for the price. Overall I'm very happy with this fridge!

This is an extra-large powerhouse of a refrigerator With nearly 28 cubic feet of space double freezer drawers and ultra-accommodating 126-inch tall ice- and water-dispenser This is a refrigerator built with innovative features like
My wife selected this refrigerator because of its spacious interior and ease of use. The ice maker does not take up any interior space in the freezer compartment and dispenses both cubed and crushed ice from a small area tucked into the left refrigerator door. We no longer buy bottled water because of the filtered water this machine dispenses. You can even place cans or bottles in the door in front of he ice maker! There is almost too much room inside the refrigerator with sliding and adjustable shelving to help with most any arrangement you may need. We have had this for about 3 months now and so far no problems. Our electricity use has dropped and the kitchen is much quieter because there is no loud compressor creating the cold air.The two shelves for the freezer are very easy for my wife to open and they self-close with little effort. They hold all that we need but because of the large refrigerator space, there seems to be a bit less freezer space. We put less used items into the lower freezer drawer. Because there are two drawers, our frozen foods are not all jumbled together and are easier to organize. We love the fact that we can fit large items that could never have found a home in our side-by-side refrigerator. It costs a bundle but if it is for your own personal use and you don't move around a lot, I believe you will find it worth the extra money.

Organize your groceries in this refrigerator that features humidity-controlled crispers and removable freezer baskets for convenient food storage The FreshChill system ensures that food is stored at optimal temperatures
The things I really like about this refrigerator which we have had for about three years are:I really like the freezer on the bottom. I'm in the fridge more than the freezer and don't have to bend down to access the fridge. The freezer has a large (huge) basket with a smaller divided pull-out one on the top. The ice cube maker works fantastically.I really like having the water dispenser on the inside wall of the fridge. The refrigerator maintains its sleek look but I still have access to filtered water.I really like there is a shelf that pulls out making it easy to reach things stuffed towards the back.I like that I can adjust the other shelves height.I like the larger drawer below the two crisper drawers. We keep cheeses and lunch meats in it. Again, very accessible.I like the big roomy size of the door shelves. They accommodate a full gallon jug of milk.I like the stainless steel look but it does require maintenance because fingerprints are forever appearing on the front.

External digital display to easily adjust controls Twin Cooling keeps food fresher Reversible Doors ENERGY STAR
We recently remodeled our small eat-in kitchen. I choose this model because it fits into a 33 inch opening. Also, counter depth is nice because things don't get lost way in back so easy. This unit has a swing open freezer door, but they also make it in a pull out drawer style freeze, the RB197 model. My opinion is the pull out drawer is OK on deeper units, but doesn't open far enough on the counter depth. Go with the swing style door on the RB195 if going counter depth. We have ours boxed in pretty tight between a pantry and tall end panel. Definitely not meeting Samsung's operating clearance specs, but I vented the wall behind the fridge into the cellar stairs. After about 3 months I can say we are very happy with this fridge. It doesn't run much and is very quite when it does.

From the beginning every Amana brand product has been madewith the same core philosophy to provide customers with high-quality products that are reliable meet their needs and last longer than the rest And they keep that philosophy firmly in mind as
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)First off, let me say this is a great fridge and a great experience overall. First, some thoughts about the fridge: 1) The freezer is designed as a large "EasyFreezer Pull-out" bottom drawer. True to Amana's claim, my wife and I can open and close the drawer smoothly without much effort; further, we can see every item in the freezer with ease. In addition, organization has been simplified with its lower stationary dual baskets and upper glide-out wire drawer. Some good friends have a slightly larger LG bottom freezer fridge, and while it seems more roomy there's less space in the baskets. The Amana provides a lot of room. 2) The shelves of the interior of the fridge are all at eye-level, which makes taking items in and out convenient. This is such a wonderful plus, especially with a new born. The contents of the "Garden Fresh Crisper" drawers and everything on the easily adjustable shelves can be seen without difficulty. The "Spill-saver Glass Shelves" protect from messy over-splits (which seem to happen from time to time) and should make cleaning quite simple. The shelves have smooth edges without awkward parts. 3) The door opens with ease and its bins are solid and adjustable. In the model this new refrigerator replaced the bins were loose and did not hold things securely. The Amana has made them quite sturdy with the capability of placing them at whatever height that you want. We can…

219 Cu Ft Capacity Bottom-Freezer
I've been through several types of refrigerators in the last number of years, and strangely enough, despite the current trend for side-by-side or French Door refrigerators, I've gone back to the basics and prefer the older style top-bottom fridge. And I like the freezer on the bottom, as well. And, even more astonishing, I like white appliances. My kitchen has plain white cabinetry and the white appliances fit seamlessly into the facades, where in my opinion, stainless steel would look a bit jarring. Since some of my appliances but not all needed replacing, I decided to stay with white. AND....it is easier to clean. No fingerprints. This model of refrigerator has some advantages and a few disadvantages. The advantages:The shelves are designed to contain spills (yes, I've had this happen. It's ugly when you have to wipe out spilled milk or soup.)There is a half-height deli drawer for cheese or cold meats. There are two vegetable drawers, adjusted to keep vegetables at the proper humidity. The freezer has a top basket that slides, so you can put frequently-used items or flat items on top (like chicken breasts and chicken thighs, in my case, pretty much my staple food.) The bottom is deep enough for whole poultry or containers of frozen soups. You can change the height of the door bins, so that if you need space for more tall bottles or cartons, you have it.Disadvantages:Though you get a wider freezer than a side-by-side, you have to bend down to riffle through the freezer. It is not…

219 Cu Ft Capacity Bottom-Freezer
Very happy with this refrigerator. We had only 30" of space, wanted the freezer on the bottom, and wanted black sides. Stainless ranges and microhoods are stainless and black, so why are so many appliance companies making stainless refrigerators with grey sides? Not a problem if the sides don't show, but a big problem if they do!I do think it should come with one more door bin, which we just ended up ordering separately. It comes with the following storage pieces for inside of the door: 1 full-width bin, 3 half-width bins, and 1 half-width bin with a clear swivel cover. We ordered an additional half-width bin.

I paid over $3,000 for a Samsung refrigerator and the main board already burned out. Samsung only covers the board for ONE YEAR. Seriously? The quality is terrible. Customer service was just as bad. I'll never buy anything Samsung again.I'm sure they hire people to write these nice long reviews. Who seriously has time to write a 10 paragraph review on a product that works okay? No one gets that excited about a refrigerator. I call BS.
